Baguio COVID-19 Active Cases Surges to 17
July 20, 2020 – Baguio City’s Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) surges to seventeen (17) today with the addition of three fresh cases.
Three New COVID-19 Cases in Baguio City
According to City Health Officer Dr. Rowena Galpo, the three new COVID-19 cases in Baguio City are:
- 9-year old girl from Middle Quezon Hill, close contact of previous patients
- 46-year old female from Lualhati
- 57-year old male from North Sanitary Camp
Mayor Benjie Magalong will convene the Baguio City Inter-Agency Task Force this afternoon to address the surge in cases.
Active COVID-19 Cases in Baguio
The three new additional cases raise the total confirmed cases in Baguio City to sixty-five (65), forty-four (46) have recovered, and two (2) have succumbed to the disease.
