Bored? Let Google amuse you with some silly tricks that might just somehow ease your boredom. Other than simply providing you with information about the things you have searched using the search engine, Google has more tricks up its sleeves and some of it are actually entertaining.

Here are some of the ways to see a few of the many Google tricks in existence:

1. Running Dinosaur Game

Among all the Google games and tricks there is, the Running Dinosaur Game or the Chrome Dino or the T-Rex Run might be the most popular of them all. The goal of this game is to jump over boundaries to gain scores and to not see the Game Over sign on your screen. This simple, yet entertaining game works both on the computer and on phone.

The best part about this game is that you can play it even without an internet connection. Actually, this game only shows up when there is no internet connection. Have you already encountered this dinosaur many times before but never tried playing the game? Here’s how it works:

  • Turn off your WiFi
  • Open a new Google Search
  • You will see “There is no internet” and a little dinosaur below
  • If you’re on your computer tap the space bar, but in you’re on your mobile tap the dinosaur
  • The game will start right away and you have to make the little dino run and jump over the approaching cacti

2. Pacman

Type in the work “Pacman” in the Google search bar then hit enter or click search. Doing so will allow you to play the game created by Google for a Doodle celebrating Pacman’s 30th anniversary back on May 21, 2010. This trick works both for mobile and computer.

“Today, on PAC-MAN’s 30th birthday, you can rediscover some of your 8-bit memories—or meet PAC-MAN for the first time—through our first-ever playable Google doodle,” wrote Marcin Wichary, senior UX designer and developer, back in 2010.

3. Do a Barrel Roll

Try searching “do a barrel roll” on Google and the search results page will spin a full 360 degrees. This Google trick works both on mobile or computer.

4. Solitaire

Try searching the word “Solitaire” on Google and you can enjoy a round of this classic card game. This Google trick works both on mobile or computer.

5. Fidget Spinner

Do you still remember the time when fidget spinners were so cool that many people would like to have for themselves? If you somehow fidget spinner craze, try to Google the word “Spinner.” By doing so, you can either spin a fidget spinner or a “Wheel of Fortune”-style number spinner. This Google trick works both on mobile or computer.

6. Askew

Want to see Google from a different angle? Search the word “Askew” on Google and your screen will appear to be slightly tilted. This Google trick works both on mobile or computer.

7. Flip a Coin

Having a tough time deciding which is which? Toss a coin and let the coin decide. Don’t have a coin at the moment? Try Googling “flip a coin” and be able to flip a silver coin with just a click or tap. This Google trick works both on mobile or computer.

8. Roll A Die

Planning to play a board game but you have misplaced your dice? If you have an internet connection just search “Roll A Die” on Google and roll dice using either your computer or mobile device.

9. Tic Tac Toe

Type “Tic Tac Toe” on the Google search bar and hit enter or click search. Then play a short game of tic tac toe. This Google trick works both on mobile or computer.

10. Color Picker

Search “Color Picker” in Google and the Colour picker will show up. This Google trick works both on mobile or computer.
