Urban Farmers to Showcase Local Products for Agri-Tourism Trade Fair

In celebration of Urban Farmer’s Month, the City Veterinary and Agriculture Office of the Baguio City is organizing the Agri-Tourism Trade Fair, which will happen from May 11 to 25, 2021 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Igorot Garden.

With this year’s theme: “May pandemya man o wala, Magsasaka’t Mangingisda Maaasahan ng Bansa,” the trade fair aims to showcase the different products of urban farmers and will give them the opportunity to sell directly to the public.

As per Ordinance Number 35, Series of 2018, Urban Farmer’s Month is celebrated every month of May in the City to recognize the invaluable contribution of farmers in ensuring food security and nation-building.
