Another upsurge was recorded in Baguio City. As of Sunday, March 28, 2021, the City of Baguio recorded 114 new cases which brings the total number of active cases to 719.
Summary
Sixty-four (64) of the new cases today were known due to contact tracing, thirty-four (35) are symptomatic, nine (9) were discovered through expanded testing and seven were due to other reasons.
Three fatalities were also recorded as well as ninety (90) recoveries. The fatalities now total 124 and recoveries at 6,465.

Three Fatalities Details
Here are the details of the three who died:
- 41-year-old FEMALE – she was admitted at BGHMC on March 26, 2021, and expired on the same day. The final diagnosis is Covid Pneumonia.
- 60-year-old MALE – he was dead on arrival at BGHMC on March 26, 2021, with a final diagnosis of Covid Pneumonia.
- 84-year-old MALE – he was admitted at BGHMC on March 20, 2021, and expired on March 26, 2021. The final diagnosis was Covid Pneumonia with Comorbid conditions.
