Two Puroks in City Camp Central on Hard Lockdown; Provisional Lockdown Issued over Upper Q.M.




Baguio Mayor Benjamin Magalong has issued new memorandums today, September 29, 2020, ordering new lockdown orders over several areas in the City of Baguio.

Hard Lockdown

According to Memorandum No. 368, series of 2020, effective 12:00 PM today, and until 5:00 PM of October 6, 2020, Puroks 6 and 7,  Barangay City Camp Central will be placed under hard lockdown.

It is stated in the memorandum that this is subject to a recommendation for an earlier lifting of hard lockdown from the local contact tracing analysts and medical officers.

In addition, the hard lockdown order was issued to contain and manage the transmission of the virus after the local task force was informed that the city has news clusters of cases in the said barangay.

Furthermore, all persons shall remain within the confines of their homes for the duration of the lockdown, except in case of immediate or emergency medical necessities only.

Provisional Lockdown

Based on the Memorandum No. 369, series of 2020, Mayor Magalong has issued a provisional lockdown over Dahlia Street, Barangay Upper Q.M effective immediately and until further notice.

The said area was placed on lockdown to facilitate complete and efficient contact tracing, and to ensure the safety and security of persons who may have contact with the new confirmed case.
