Transportation Scheme for Taxi Units plying within Baguio City from March 1-31, 2022





The Traffic and Transportation Management Division of the City Engineering Office has released a new advisory through the Public Information Office of Baguio City regarding the number coding scheme for taxi units plying within the City of Baguio from Tuesday, March 1 to Thursday, March 31, 2022.





As per Advisory No. 02, 2022, taxi units plying within the city shall follow the temporary transport scheme as follows:

Taxi units may operate from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. the following day.

Other guidelines

  • Special Taxis may be contacted through online digital platform/ taxi-hailing applications
  • Passengers are encouraged to always ask for the fare receipt that may be used for contact tracing and incidences of left baggage.
  • Minimum public health and safety measures prescribed by the LTFRB and the City Government through the BTMWG shall likewise be implemented. All passengers including drivers are urged to use surgical masks instead of cloth masks. Cloth masks may still be used on top of surgical masks as added protection. Plastic barriers between the driver and the front passenger should totally enclose the driver and shall always be maintained clean and disinfected. All drivers are encouraged to have their booster vaccinations.
  • This advisory may be adjusted upon the issuance of an Executive Order on the guidelines for the implementation of Alert Level 1 in the City of Baguio.
