One of the most iconic duos on TV with a long history of comedic rivalry is taking their cat-and-mouse game to the big screen. That’s right! Tom & Jerry are having a new movie that is coming to theaters by 2021. And guess what? The film is going to be a blend of classic animation and live action! So prepare yourself for an entirely new adventure.

The Tom & Jerry Movie, as somehow expected, is rated PG for cartoon violence, rude humor and brief language.

“After a lifetime of being the world’s most famous enemies, Tom and Jerry are about to start over in the big city.” Well, at least that’s what the narrator in the Tom & Jerry Movies’ brand new trailer said. But you’ve probably guessed that those two wouldn’t simply get along in a flash, so watch the trailer firsthand and see what our beloved cat and mouse are truly up to.

The official trailer for the Tom & Jerry Movie was only released today, November 18, 2020, on YouTube and at around 5:00 PM over one million (1M) views.

“One of the most beloved rivalries in history is reignited when Jerry moves into New York City’s finest hotel on the eve of “the wedding of the century,” forcing the event’s desperate planner to hire Tom to get rid of him, in director Tim Story’s “Tom and Jerry.” The ensuing cat and mouse battle threatens to destroy her career, the wedding and possibly the hotel itself. But soon, an even bigger problem arises: a diabolically ambitious staffer conspiring against all three of them.”

Know for the films “Fantastic Four,” “Think Like a Man,” and “Barbershop”, Director Tim Story will direct the film. Chris DeFaria, on the other hand, who is known for the films The LEGO Movie 2,” “Ready Player One,” and “Gravity”, is the producer. The Tom & Jerry Movie is written by Kevin Costello, based on characters created by William Hanna and Joseph Barbera.
