There’s a Liquor Ban in Municipality of Bakun, Benguet for the Whole Month of February

Through Executive Order No. 08-2021, “Prescribing Guidelines on the Implementation of the General Community Quarantine in the Municipality of Bakun, Benguet”, which was signed by Bakun Municipal Mayor Bill Raymundo on February 2, 2021, prescribed guidelines on the implementation of GCQ in the municipality have been revealed.

Included in the prescribed GCQ guidelines is the Liquor Ban. Here is what’s stated in Section 6 of the Executive Order:

“Selling, buying and drinking of liquor within the Municipality shall be prohibited. Establishments or any person who sells and/or distributes intoxicating beverages or who violates the liquor ban shall be given a warning on the first offence and revocation his/her business permit on the second offense.”

Moreover, on a social media post published by the Facebook page of the Municipality of Bakun (LGU – BAKUN), which was also shared by the Facebook page of the Public Information Office of the Province of Benguet (PIO – Benguet EOC), it was also announced that the Liquor Ban in the municipality is effective for the whole month of February this year.
