Super TyphoonUwan (Fung-wong) maintains its strength as it lashes the Bicol Region, Aurora, and nearby provinces. The storm continues to bring life-threatening winds, heavy rainfall, and coastal flooding across large portions of Luzon. Most provinces in the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) remain under Signal No. 3, while areas in Bicol and Aurora are now under Signal No. 5.
Uwan is expected to move west northwestward over the next 24 hours, passing close to Calaguas and Polillo Islands before making landfall over Aurora tonight or early Monday. After crossing Northern Luzon, it will exit toward Lingayen Gulf by Monday morning and gradually weaken as it turns northward toward Taiwan midweek.

Storm surges exceeding 3.0 meters are expected in Cagayan, Isabela, Ilocos, La Union, Pangasinan, Aurora, Zambales, Bataan, Metro Manila, Batangas, Quezon, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Catanduanes, Albay, Sorsogon, Northern Samar, Eastern Samar, and nearby coastal areas.
A Gale Warning is in effect over most seaboards of Luzon and the eastern Visayas and Mindanao. Seas will range from very rough to very high (up to 14.0 meters) along the eastern seaboards of Isabela, Aurora, Catanduanes, and Camarines provinces.
