Saint Louis University was recognized as a top performing school in the August 2025 Medical Technologists Licensure Examination, while a University of Baguio graduate earned a place among the top 10 examinees.

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 3,360 out of 4,720 examinees passed the Medical Technologists Licensure Examination conducted by the Board of Medical Technology in August 2025. The exam was held in NCR, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga. PRC noted that the result of the examination for one examinee was withheld pending final determination of liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.

Among schools with 50 or more examinees and at least 90% passing rate, Saint Louis University (SLU) led the roster with a 98.28% passing percentage, as 57 out of 58 of its examinees successfully passed.
