The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) and the Board for Professional Teachers (BPT) announced the results of the Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (LEPT) conducted on September 21 and November 30, 2025, across 45 testing centers in the Philippines, Hong Kong, and Thailand.
Based on the official results, thousands of examinees passed the licensure examination at both the elementary and secondary levels, with schools from Baguio City and Benguet earning recognition for their performance.
For the Elementary Level, a total of 21,967 examinees passed out of 43,035, translating to a 51.04 percent passing rate. Of the successful examinees, 19,924 were first-time takers, while 2,043 were repeaters.
For the Secondary Level, 57,729 examinees passed out of 79,493, resulting in a 72.62 percent passing rate. The PRC noted that 52,207 passers were first-time takers, while 5,522 were repeaters.
Saint Louis University (Baguio City) was recognized by the PRC as one of the Top Performing Schools in the Elementary Level of the September–November 2025 LET. The university qualified under the category of schools with 50 to 99 examinees and at least a 90 percent passing rate, placing it among institutions nationwide that recorded strong overall performance in the examination.
In addition to its school performance, Saint Louis University also produced a topnotcher in the Secondary Level.
According to the official list of top examinees released by the PRC, Axelle Aldrei Alipio Domingo, a graduate of Saint Louis University, was included among the top examinees in the Secondary Level, earning a rating of 93.00 percent.
The PRC list also shows that Laureen Tauli, a graduate of the University of Baguio, ranked Top 7 in the Secondary Level of the September–November 2025 LET, further highlighting Baguio City’s representation among the national topnotchers.
Benguet State University–La Trinidad also earned national recognition after being listed among the Top Performing Schools in the Elementary Level. The university qualified under the category of schools with 100 or more examinees and at least an 87 percent passing rate, posting an overall passing rate of 96.40 percent.
The PRC released separate official lists for top examinees and top performing schools for both the elementary and secondary levels. The lists include graduates from various universities across the country that met the performance criteria set by the Commission.
