Supreme Court Releases BAR Exam Results: Saint Louis University Shines, UP Student Tops






The Supreme Court has released the results of the 2022 BAR Exams, which took place on November 9, 13, 16, and 20, 2022. Thousands of aspiring lawyers across the country eagerly awaited the outcome of the prestigious and notoriously challenging exams, which determine eligibility to practice law in the Philippines.

Among the top 30 passers, Eric Pamintuan Exiomo from Saint Louis University (SLU) in Baguio City secured the 18th spot, while Czar Matthew Gerard Torres Dayday from the University of the Philippines (UP) claimed the coveted top rank. These results highlight the strength and quality of legal education offered by the country’s premier institutions.




Bar Exams 2022 Performance of Law Schools

Saint Louis University showcased its legal prowess by ranking as the second top-performing law school in two categories. With 11-50 examinees, SLU achieved an impressive 95% passing rate in the First Time Candidates category, while maintaining a 78.46% passing percentage among 51-100 examinees in the All Candidates category.
