New Lockdown Orders in Baguio City | Expanded Lockdown in Some Areas

Due to the additional confirmed COVID-19 cases the City Government of Baguio, as directed by Mayor Benjamin Magalong, ordered the implementation of lockdowns in several areas in Baguio City. Limited or granular lockdowns are being implemented based on the finding of the contact tracing team.

Expanded Lockdown

In addition to the areas currently on lockdown, the following areas will also be included in the lockdown order.

• Barangay Fairview: Purok 1, and Purok 7 Sunnyside only;
• Barangay Irisan: Purok 7, 14, 14-a, 24 and 27 only;
• Barangay Magsaysay Private Road: Purok 3 and 4 only
• Entire Pinget Barangay

New Lockdown Orders

In the same memorandum, the City Mayor also ordered the lockdown of the following areas

• Purok 1, Barangay Alfonso Tabora
• Purok 3, Barangay Camp 8
• Bay-asen Compound, Barangay Guisad Central
• Purok 1, Barangay Holyghost Extension
• Dagohoy Street, Barangay Kagitingan
• Purok 7, Barangay Kias
• Baja Compound, Purok Pidawan, Barangay Loakan Proper
• Purok 6, Barangay Padre Burgos
• Block 24-34, Pinesville Barangay PMA-Fort Del Pilar
• Purok 4, and 5 Barangay Pucsusan
• Purok 1, Barangay Scout Barrio

The lockdown orders are necessary in order to facilitate contact tracing and to ensure the safety and security of those who may have come in contact with the COVID-19 patients.

The City Mayor also reiterates the observance of the lockdown protocols provided in Memorandum No. 144 Series of 2020.
