Mayor Magalong Orders Immediate Lockdown on Two Barangays in Baguio City

To facilitate contact tracing regarding the two of the recent cases of COVID-19 that were recorded in the City of Baguio, the office of the City Mayor has issued a lockdown order on two barangays effective today, August 3, 2020, until further notice.

Barangays under Lockdown

The following barangays in Baguio City will be placed on immediate lockdown:

• Balacbac in Barangay Sto. Tomas Proper
• Barangay Pinget

As per Memorandum No. 153, series of 2020, The purpose of the lockdown is to facilitate contact tracing and disinfection of the area. This is also to ensure the safety and security of the residents who may have come in contact with the patients.
