LTO Extends Validity of Vehicle Registration for Plates Ending in 2
The Land Transportation Office (LTO) has extended the validity of registration for motor vehicles with plate numbers ending in two (2).
The public advisory is according to the Memorandum Circular No. 2021-2251 issued on February 2, 2021.
Extended Validity
- For Middle Digits 1,2, and 3 of Plate No. Ending in 2
- Original Registration Schedule:
- Until February 7, 2021
- Extended Validity:
- Up to February 15, 2021
- Original Registration Schedule:
- For Middle Digits 4,5, and 6 of Plate No. Ending in 2
- Original Registration Schedule:
- Until February 14, 2021
- Extended Validity:
- Up to February 22, 2021
- Original Registration Schedule:
- For Middle Digits 7 and 8 of Plate No. Ending in 2
- Original Registration Schedule:
- Until February 21, 2021
- Extended Validity:
- Up to February 28, 2021
- Original Registration Schedule:
- For Middle Digits 9 and 0 of Plate No. Ending in 2
- Original Registration Schedule:
- Until February 28, 2021
- Extended Validity:
- Up to March 8, 2021
- Original Registration Schedule:
Furthermore, as stated in the memorandum, “No surcharge (weekly penalty – for vehicles with middle digits 1-8 of plate numbers ending in 2) or penalty (for vehicles with middle digits 9 and 0 of plate numbers ending in 2), whichever applicable shall be collected during the said extended validity period for the renewal registration of the said vehicles.”
