Lockdown Lifted for areas at Loakan Proper and for Lopez Jaena Barangay

UPDATE June 24, 2026 10:58 PM:

Baguio City Mayor, Benjamin Magalong, through Memorandum 89 series of 2020 has ordered the lifting of the lockdown status of the following areas:

• Purok Magsaysay
• Purok Sadjo
• Maxicar Village

– These areas are all within the jurisdiction of Barangay Loakan Proper.

In addition, the Mayor also lifted the lockdown status of Barangay Lopez Jaena.

The lifting of the lockdown is due to the fact that the contact tracing team has completed its operations in the said Barangays. This will take effect at 8:00 AM of June 25, 2020.

The City Mayor has reiterated that residents should strictly comply with the rules and regulations of the Modified General Community Quarantine.
