Heads Up! Session Road will be closed to traffic starting tomorrow at 12:01 Midnight September 8, 2023






Motorists in Baguio City heads up! Plan your route now, as the City Government of Baguio through the BCPO Traffic Enforcement Unit announcement, will be closing Session Road to traffic. This is for the activities in celebration of the 114th Charter Anniversary of Baguio City.

The activities for the Charter Anniversary of Baguio City was previously postponed due to the inclement weather brought about by the recent typhoons and the enhanced southwest monsoon.




Temporary Closure Duration

According to the announcement by the Baguio City Police Office Traffic Enforcement Unit (BCPO-TEU), the closure of Session Road and several other roads will start at 12 midnight on September 8, 2023, to 12 midnight on September 10, 2023.

Roads that are Temporarily Closed

  • Magsaysay Avenue Going Up to Session Road
  • Perfecto Street Going Up to Session Road
  • Calderon Street Going Up to Session Road
  • Father Carlu Street Going Down Session Road
  • Assumption Road Going Up to General Luna

Roads Open To Traffic

  • ONE WAY: Upper Mabini Street Going Down Lower Mabini Street to Harrison Road
  • Governor Pack to Session Road Rotunda
  • All other Adjacent Roads Remain Open





Traffic Diversion

  • All vehicles coming up from KM.0 or O-shape going to SM/Cathedral and Leonardwood Road may take Harrison Road to Governor Pack Road or take Magsaysay Road then Turn Right to General Luna Road then turn right to Father Carlu loop to your point of Destination.
  • All vehicles coming from Magsaysay Road going to SM/Upper Session Road area may turn left at the Y-shaped intersection to Bonifacio Road to General Luna to Bonifacio – MORMONS to Father Carlu Loop or straight to O-Shape – Harrison – Governor Pack Road to Session Rotunda to point of destination.

  • Perfecto Street
  • General Luna Road
  • Lower and Upper Bonifacio Street
  • Upper and Lower Mabini Street
  • Post Office Loop
  • Father Carlu Loop
  • Leonardwood Road
  • Part of Governor Pack Road
  • Luneta Hill Drive
