Four New Cases Brings City’s Active Cases Toll to 59




The city reports four new patients who have tested positive for COVID-19 today.

New COVID-19 Cases in Baguio City

According to the Baguio City COVID-19 Monitoring Update, here are the details on the following cases:

  • 15-year old female from Barangay Suello Village Bakakeng Central;
  • 27-year old female from Barangay Lower Quirino Hill;
  • 30-year old male from Barangay Lower Brookside (for verification as the earlier reported case is a female); and
  • 29-year old male from Barangay Crystal Cave.

UPDATE AS OF August 10, 2020 8:18 AM: Through communication with the Public Information Office, we were informed that the details of all the cases abovementioned are still undergoing further verification. Any updates released by local authorities will be updated on this article.

Lockdown Orders in Baguio City

Earlier, lockdown orders have also been released to facilitate contact tracing on the abovementioned areas.

COVID-19 Cases in Baguio City

As of date, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the city is now at 166. 59 cases are currently active, 102 have recovered, and 5 have died from the disease.
