Entrance Fee to be Collected in 2 city-owned parks in Baguio
The city government of Baguio will implement the mandate of City ordinance number 18 series of 2016 or also known as the City Environmental Code. Section 31 of the City Environmental Code provides for the collection of fees and also mandates the collection of rental fees for the use of the First floor and Second Floor Halls as well as the Diplomat Grounds.
The Two Parks
The parks where the collection of environmental fees will be implemented are Diplomat Heritage Park and the Botanical Garden. Both parks will be collecting the following environmental fees:
Adult : ₱10.00
Children : ₱5.00
Rental Rates at the Diplomat Heritage Park

| First Floor | – ₱500.00/hour or ₱4,000/day (8hours) – ₱100.00/hour (for use of electricity) – Refundable maintenance bond of ₱5,000.00 shall be deposited at the City Treasurers office. |
| Second Floor | – ₱700.00/hour or ₱5,600.00/day (8 hours) – ₱100.00/hour (for use of electricity) – Refundable maintenance bond of ₱5,000.00 shall be deposited at the City Treasurers office. |
| Ground Area (for legal and moral functions, concerts, photoshoots) | – ₱1,000/5 hours or ₱2,000.00/day (8 hours) – ₱100.00 / for every hour of set-up |
The Maintenance Bond
The refund of the maintenance bond is for covering any cost of damages incurred during the holding of the event. Refund of the maintenance bond will be computed by deducting the cost of the damage incurred. If the cost of the damage incurred is higher than ₱5,000.00 the event organizer will be charged according to prevailing estimates for grass covers, fences, plants and replaceable facilities like lamp posts and lamps.
The use of the Diplomat Heritage park facilities will only be allowed after the corresponding fees are paid at the Baguio City Treasurers Office and the permit for use is duly issued.
Fees for all other Parks
Other parks which will be used for Photo shoots, concerts and other legal and moral functions will have the following fees:
- ₱1,000/5 hours or ₱2,000.00/day (8 hours)
- ₱100.00 / for every hour of set-up
Rate Increase
The City Environmental Code under section 33, provides for the increase of the Park rates of 10% every 3 years.
Purpose of the Fees
The fees to be collected are going to be used for better maintenance and improvement of the parks.
