Eight Barangays in Baguio City placed under Lockdown Today




Through Memorandum No. 157, series of 2020, Baguio Mayor Benjamin Magalong has ordered the immediate lockdown of the following areas in Baguio City effective today, August 5, 2020, until further notice for contact tracing purposes:

Eight Barangays Under Lockdown

  • Barangay Balsigan
  • Conception Drive, Barangay Camp 7
  • Barangay Campo Filipino
  • Barangay City Camp Proper
  • Purok 2, 22, and 23, Barangay Irisan
  • Barangay San Luis Village
  • Barangay Sto. Nino-Slaughter
  • Barangay Pacdal

Furthermore, the lockdown was ordered after the local COVID-19 Task Force was informed that most of the recent COVID-19 cases in Baguio City are residents of the said barangays.

As a result of the lockdown, the following will be implemented:

  • Home Quarantine Pass / Mall and Market Schedule Cards are suspended
  • Residents may access basic needs through the barangay satellite market or available rolling stores or they could coordinate with their barangay officials.
  • Exit and Entry to these areas are restricted to APOR’s and those with medical emergencies

  1. I would like to inquire how can i go to baguio city. I have a house at victoria village and i would like to visit my house .i need to have some repair in the house. I am afraid of the erosion of soil due to the rainy season.. I need to put a retaining wall infront of the property.. My plan is to schedule the works and talk to the workers to start the works as soon as possinle.
