BENECO to put off scheduled power interruptions from May 2 to 16, 2022

Benguet Electric Cooperative (BENECO) has released an advisory on Thursday deferring scheduled power interruptions from Monday, May 2 to Monday, May 16, 2022.

According to Network Services Department Manager Ramel Rifani, BENECO will not be scheduling power interruptions on the said dates in relation to the upcoming National and Local Elections on May 9, 2022.

As per advisory 2022-23, all requests and projects that are not yet implemented will be scheduled after May 16, 2022.

The cooperative seeks the public’s understanding in case of unscheduled and emergency power interruptions caused by circumstances beyond BENECO’s control such as NGCP outages, vehicular accidents affecting lines, and force majeure occurrences.
