By Baguio records 60 new cases, 103 recoveries and 1 fatality
The City of Baguio recorded an additional 60 new cases as the city of pines continue to battle the ongoing pandemic.
Summary
The sixty cases were detected as follows:
- 15 of the cases were determined due to contact tracing
- 9 were known due to the ongoing expanded testing efforts by the city of Baguio
- 34 individuals were discovered because they exhibited symptoms.
- 2 of the cases were determined due to other reasons.
1 Fatality in Baguio City
The city also recorded one fatality today. An 83-year-old male was admitted to the NDDCH last March 16, 2021, who unfortunately expired on March 24, 2021. The final diagnosis was COVID-19, Pneumonia critical, acute respiratory distress syndrome with co-morbid conditions.
Total Cases in Baguio City
The new cases less the number of recoveries brings the total active cases in the City of Baguio to 662. While the fatality today brings the total number of deaths due to COVID-19 to 120. The total recoveries are at 6,360.
