Baguio City Suspends Incoming Non-Essential Travels from all Areas from Sept. 3-19, 2021

Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong has announced the suspension of non-essential travels to Baguio City regardless of quarantine classification. This will take effect starting Friday, September 3, 2021 until Sunday, September 19, 2021.

According to the local chief executive, the order is part of the control measures to address the current surge of COVID-19 cases in the city. The city’s daily COVID-19 tally breached the 100-mark for August 31 and September 1, logging 150 and 116 respectively.

Authorized persons outside of residence (APORs) may still be allowed to enter the city subject to entry protocols and requirements.
