Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong has issued an Executive Order No. 134, series of 2020 today, September 24, 2020 (Thursday), ordering the temporary closure and suspension of operations at the Baguio City Abattoir, and the Livestock Market for Hogs and Goats.
The City Abattoir was closed last September 23 until 24, 2020 for disinfection and contact tracing purposes. According to the order, “Contact tracing and testing results of additional confirmed cases working at the City Abattoir, and at the livestock market for hogs and goats.” With this, the authorities have recommended to close and suspend operations of the said areas.
