Available Pfizer Vaccine in Baguio are for A1, A2 and A3 priority sectors according to the City Mayor




Some doses of the Pfizer vaccine arrived in Baguio City yesterday. According to the post of the Baguio Public Information Office, there were 35,100 doses of Pfizer vaccine that arrived.

Due to the limited supply of the Pfizer vaccine, Mayor Benjamin Magalong advised the public that those belonging to the priority A1, A2, and A3 groups are the ones to be provided with the said Pfizer vaccine supply.

The Pfizer vaccine received by Baguio City was from the W.H.O. COVAX Facility and according to a similar health department guideline, Pfizer vaccines will be administered to A1, A2, and A3 priority groups in the city and who were able to register at bakuna.baguio.gov.ph.

Due to the limited supply of the vaccine, the Mayor also asked the public for their understanding and to patiently wait for their turn to be vaccinated.

According to the national government, more vaccines are coming into the country which will be used to vaccinate enough citizens for the country to reach “population protection”. Just today, 1.5M doses of the Sinovac vaccine arrived in the country.
