Applying for A Water Connection at BWD? Process it Online, here’s how

The Baguio Water District (BWD) resumed accepting applications for its frontline services, including the application for new water connection, yesterday, June 15, 2020.

Here is the list of frontline services of BWD which are now open for applications:

• New connection application
• Additional water meter and tapping
• Additional meter with common tapping
• Transfer of tapping
• Reconnection of disconnected water meter
• Re-tapping of service line

However, transactions for the said services WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED AND PROCESSED ONLINE due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and as part of the health and sanitation protocols being implemented by the district.

How to Process Your Water Connection Application Online

If you are planning to process your water connection application any time soon, here’s the step-by-step process laid down by BWD:





 

  1. Log in to Baguio Water District’s official website http://baguiowaterdistrict.gov.ph/
  2. In the BWD homepage select the CONSUMER PAGE on the toolbar and click ONLINE FILING OF WATER CONNECTION APPLICATION.
  3. Fill-up the online form with the required information by ticking/clicking your answers on the questions provided.
  4. One completed, click the SUBMIT menu button found at the bottom of the online form.
  5. A confirmation will be sent to the email address provided by the customer informing the success of the online filing. The documentary requirements for the application are likewise detailed in the confirmation email.
  6. Customer may submit through email the scanned or photographed copies of the documentary requirements. Once uploaded, a BWD Customer Service Assistant (CSA) will acknowledge receipt through email and/or phone call and inform the customer on the status of the water connection application.
  7. An initial inspection will be conducted by the Tapping Inspector.
  8. After Inspection, the BWD CSA will contact the customer to schedule the submission of the certified true copies of the required documents (bring original for validation) and payment of the corresponding inspection fee/s at the BWD Main Office.
  9. The CSA will then inform the customer on the schedule of the ONLINE mandatory orientation seminar.

Customers with Pending Application

Furthermore, according to the Resumption of Frontline Services Advisory released by BWD, customers with pending transactions prior to March 15, 2020 are advised to call the BWD Commercial Division at (074)442-6539 or email [email protected] for further clarifications.
