Cordillera schools delivered a strong showing in the August and September 2026 Nurses Licensure Examination, with seven examinees from Saint Louis University (SLU) and one from Benguet State University (BSU) making it to the nationwide Top 10.
Both SLU and BSU also recorded 100 percent passing rates and were included among the top-performing schools, according to results released by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC).
Another Cordillera institution, Ifugao State University, likewise achieved a perfect passing rate.
7 Louisians Among PNLE Top 10
Seven examinees from Saint Louis University in Baguio City were among those who garnered the ten highest places in the August and September 2026 Nurses Licensure Examination.
Leading the Louisian topnotchers was Johanna Marie Macay Bagayao, who placed 4th nationwide with a rating of 91.60 percent.

Bhel Laureen Dela Cruz Garcia of Benguet State University-La Trinidad also earned a place among the PNLE topnotchers.
Garcia ranked 8th nationwide with a rating of 90.80 percent.
This brings the number of Top 10 placers from Baguio and Benguet schools to eight, with seven from SLU and one from BSU.

The PRC released the complete list of examinees who garnered the ten highest places in the August and September 2026 Nurses Licensure Examination.
BSU and SLU Post 100% Passing Rates
Benguet State University-La Trinidad and Saint Louis University were both included in the PRC’s list of top-performing schools under the category for institutions with 100 or more examinees and at least an 85 percent passing percentage.
BSU posted a perfect 100 percent passing rate, with all 301 of its 301 examinees passing the licensure examination.
Saint Louis University likewise recorded a 100 percent passing rate, with all 248 of its 248 examinees successfully passing.
Both schools were listed at Rank 1 in the category, together with other institutions that also achieved perfect passing rates.
Ifugao State University Also Records 100% Passing Rate
Another Cordillera institution, Ifugao State University (for Ifugao SCAF)-Lamut, also recorded a perfect performance.
All 114 of its 114 examinees passed the licensure examination, giving IFSU a 100 percent passing rate.
This means Benguet State University, Saint Louis University, and Ifugao State University all achieved perfect passing rates in the category for schools with 100 or more examinees.

28,652 Pass August and September 2026 Nurses Licensure Examination
The PRC announced that 28,652 out of 37,359 examinees passed the August and September 2026 Nurses Licensure Examination.
The examination was administered by the Board of Nursing in 26 testing centers across the Philippines.
The results involving 21 examinees were withheld pending the final determination of their liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.
The examination results were released five working days after the last day of the examination.
