The results of the Licensure Examinations for Teachers (LET) were released by the Professional Regulation Commission on Monday, wherein 4,883 elementary teachers out of 8,726 examinees (55.96%) and 10,318 secondary teachers out of 17,863 examinees (57.76%) passed the licensure exams. Out of the many examinees, three Baguio university students finished strong in the exams held last September 26, 2021.
Aside from individual achievements, three universities in Benguet also showcased a stellar overall performance by getting at least an 85% passing rate for their examinees in the secondary level.
Benguet State University main campus garnered the sixth spot with an 87.34% passing rate, followed immediately by the University of Baguio and Saint Louis University, garnering 87.10% and 86.49% passing rates respectively
For the secondary level, University of the Philippines-Baguio student Cherish Ivy Paiso Fabricante ranked second overall with a 93.20% rating, followed closely by Baltazar Reyes Dela Trinidad on the fifth spot with 92.20%. Precious Anne Gwynneth Suetos Azcueta, also a UP-Baguio student, scored 91.20% and garnered the tenth spot.
