The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced that 3,460 out of 10,171 examinees passed the October 2025 Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Licensure Examination conducted by the Board of Accountancy in 18 testing centers nationwide.
The result for one (1) examinee was withheld pending final determination of liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examinations.
Leading this year’s new CPAs is Mike Ronnel Diwa Castro from Don Honorio Ventura Technological State University, who achieved the highest rating of 91.83%.
Baguio City once again celebrates academic excellence as Jun Martinez Macario II of Saint Louis University (SLU) secured the Top 6 spot with a rating of 90.00%, bringing pride to the city’s accounting community.
