Sitio Upper Pongayan of Kapangan placed under Lockdown

UPDATE June 24, 2026 8:20 PM:

Under Executive Order No. 36, series of 2020, Mayor Manny Fermin ordered the lockdown over Sitio Upper Pongayan, Kapangan effective 8:00 PM yesterday, July 29, 2020, until further notice.

The lockdown was ordered after a confirmed COVID-19 case from La Trinidad had a close contact with relatives from Sitio Upper Pongayan.

Furthermore, the lockdown was issued to conduct the following:

  • Contact tracing
  • Disinfection
  • Enforcement of Quarantine Procedures to contain and prevent further infection.
