Spox Roque Announces Quarantine Classifications for the Rest of April, Including NCR+

Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque has announced on Sunday the updated quarantine classifications for the rest of April.

According to Roque, President Rodrigo Duterte has approved the IATF recommendation to classify the following areas under the following quarantine classification.

Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ)

• NCR, Bulacan, Rizal, Laguna, Cavite (April 12-30, 2021)
• City of Santiago, Quirino
• Abra (April 12-30, 2021)

General Community Quarantine (GCQ)

• Cordillera Administrative Region
• Region 2
  • Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya
• Region 4-A
  • Balanga
• Region 8
  • Tacloban City
• Region 10
  • Iligan City
• Region 11
  • Davao City
• BARMM
  • Lanao del Sur
• Quezon (April 12-30)

Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ)

The rest of the Philippines will be placed under MGCQ status.
