Reminders to Individuals Who Recently Arrived from COVID-19 Affected Countries and Areas with Local Transmission

The Public Information Office of the City of Baguio has released an advisory on Thursday, September 3, 2020, for those individuals who recently arrived from countries affected by the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) and areas with local transmission, which includes the National Capital Region (NCR).

Those who have symptoms such as fever, cough, colds and shortness of breath are directed to immediately seek medical attention and to not conceal their health condition.

One the other hand, those who are without symptoms or are asymptomatic are directed to inform the nearest health facility in their area and perform 14-day home quarantine.

What to Do while Under the 14-day Home Quarantine?

• Wear face mask
• Practice proper hygiene and proper handwashing
• Maintain social distancing (1 meter or 3 feet apart)
• Seek medical attention immediately when respiratory symptoms develop
