In a report, “2019 Philippine Marriage Statistics”, released by the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) on Monday, January 11, 2021, fewer Filipinos are getting married.
According to PSA, “the number of registered marriages in 2019 reached 431,972” and 1,183 marriages were solemnized daily in the country.
Furthermore, the number of marriages registered in 2019 is lower than the total registered marriages in 2018 which is 449,169.

The following are the three regions that have logged the highest number of registered marriages and since 2016 these three regions held the same positions:

Furthermore, in PSA’s data, most couples get married in the month of December with 12.0% in 2019 and most men and women in the country get married between 25-29 years old.
Also, most marriages in 2019 was done through civil ceremonies according to PSA.
