Typhoon Inday further weakened as it moved northwestward toward the sea east of Taiwan, PAGASA said late Friday morning, July 10, 2026. While Baguio City and Benguet are not under any tropical cyclone wind signal, rains are being experienced in parts of Benguet due to the Southwest Monsoon and Typhoon Inday.

As of 10:00 AM, the center of Inday was estimated at 570 kilometers east of Itbayat, Batanes. It had maximum sustained winds of 140 kilometers per hour near the center and gustiness of up to 170 kilometers per hour.

PAGASA said the enhanced Southwest Monsoon and the outer circulation of Typhoon Inday may bring strong to gale-force gusts over most of the country today and tomorrow, July 11.
By Sunday, July 12, these conditions may still affect most of Luzon, most of Visayas, and parts of Mindanao.
Residents are advised to secure loose outdoor objects and continue monitoring local weather advisories.
Inday may pass closest to Extreme Northern Luzon between tonight and Saturday morning, July 11.
It is forecast to exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility by Saturday morning or afternoon and may make landfall over the eastern coast of mainland China by Saturday evening or early Sunday morning.
PAGASA said Inday is expected to remain a typhoon until it exits PAR.
The next tropical cyclone bulletin will be issued at 5:00 PM today.
