Here’s everything you need to know about University of the Cordilleras 3rd Trimester and Summer Term

During the previous month, the University of the Cordilleras (UC) has released its schedules for enrollment and start of classes for the 3rd Trimester and Summer of SY 2019-2020.

Following this announcement, the university has released another advisory on Sunday, June 7, 2020, regarding frequently asked questions about the said terms of SY 2019-2020.

This advisory includes the UC Enrollment Helpdesk so those who have inquiries may be able to directly contact the university’s concerned offices. See the complete details below.

UC 3rd Trimester SY 2019-2020

According to UC, the enrollment for the 3rd Trimester will be done online at mystudentportal.uc-bcf.edu.ph or through faculty advisers through the UC Enrollment Helpdesks.

On the other hand, classes for the 3rd Trimester will be from June 15, 2020 – August 19, 2020.

There will be no face-to-face classes to be conducted so students shall use modules and other online distance learning methods under the Flexible Learning Modality.


UC Summer Term SY 2019-2020

For UC’s Summer Term for SY 2019-2020, the same enrollment procedure and mode of learning will be used.

However, the term will start from June 15, 2020 until July 24, 2020.

Frequently Asked Questions

On Tuition and Miscellaneous Fees

Are there changes in the school fees?

  • 25% discount on select miscellaneous fees
  • Laboratory fees will not be charged, except CITCS SAP and Cisco courses (Php 650.00).
  • Select other fees will not be charged.

Is there a refund on tuition fees?

  • 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year Nursing students will receive a 20% rebate from their RLEs.

Do I still have to pay any outstanding balance prior to enrollment?

  • Any outstanding balance must be settled prior to enrollment.
  • Promissory notes shall be forwarded to the colleges through the Helpdesk emails or mobile phone numbers.

On Flexible Learning Modality

Do I need a laptop or desktop computer to access the learning modules?

  • A mobile phone will suffice and will require light connectivity only.

Do I need to be connected to the internet for the entire duration of the class period?

  • No, it is subject to course delivery modalities.

How will Internships or Practicum be conducted?

  • Assigned projects shall be defined by the OJT adviser to achieve the identified competencies of the Internship/Practicum program.

On Advising and Subjects

When can I complete INC or NFE remarks?

  • Completion dates shall be announced.

Can I enroll subjects whose prerequisites are marked INC/NFE?

  • Contact faculty advisers through the college Helpdesk emails or mobile phone numbers.

Will subjects from the old curriculum still be offered?

  • Yes.

How can I update my grades/curriculum year in the Student Portal?

  • For curriculum year, contact faculty advisers through the college Helpdesk emails or mobile phone numbers.
