The Philippine Statistics Authority – Cordillera Administrative Region (PSA‑CAR) has issued an important public advisory following reports of individuals visiting homes and pretending to be PSA representatives.
According to the agency, these individuals claim to be conducting a randomized raffle survey and ask residents for personal information such as names, ages, and income details.
PSA‑CAR clarifies that it has no ongoing survey involving any raffle or contest.
All official surveys are properly announced beforehand, and legitimate statistical researchers carry official identification and documentation from the agency.
“Please be informed that the PSA-CAR has no ongoing surveys about any raffle draw or contest. Similarly, all surveys conducted by the office precede official announcements, and all statistical researchers involved in official surveys are clothed with official identification and documentation from the agency.”
Residents are reminded to exercise caution when sharing personal information and to verify the identity of anyone claiming to represent the PSA.
If you encounter suspicious activity or individuals misrepresenting the agency, report immediately to your local authorities or contact PSA‑CAR through:
