Face-to-face classes at all levels in both public and private schools throughout Benguet are suspended on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, due to the continuing effects of the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat.
Governor Dr. Melchor D. Diclas ordered the suspension through Executive Order No. 2026-59 amid the continuous inclement weather affecting the province.
The suspension covers all levels in public and private educational institutions across Benguet.
The provincial government said the measure was issued as persistent rains brought by the Habagat continue to affect the province.
Governor Diclas also reminded residents to exercise extreme caution and remain vigilant while the prevailing weather conditions continue.

Residents, particularly those living in flood-prone and landslide-prone areas, are encouraged to continue monitoring advisories from local authorities and weather agencies.
The class suspension will be in effect on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.
