Baguio City Remains under GCQ until May 31

The City of Baguio will remain under General Community Quarantine (GCQ) from May 1 to 31, 2021, Department of Interior and Local Government – Cordillera Administrative Region (DILG-CAR) stated in an announcement made on Tuesday.

This is to clarify the queries of the public on whether the City of Baguio is included in IATF’s resolution to place the province of Benguet under Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine (MECQ) from May 10 to 23, 2021.

As per IATF Resolution No. 114-C, Apayao, and the Benguet Province were placed under MECQ to address the involved local government units’ increasing number of severe cases and deaths.
