In the recently concluded Special Professional Licensure Examination (SPLE) for Architects last April 2023, Saint Louis University (SLU) added another feather to its cap as it ranked third in the examination. The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced the triumph of Jefferson Bugtong Sabog, an alumnus of SLU, who claimed the third spot with a remarkable 80.80% rating.
The SPLE was administered by the Board of Architecture, headed by its Chairman, Arch. Robert S. Sac, along with two other members, Arch. Robert M. Mirafuente and Arch. Corazon V. Fabia-Tandoc. The test was conducted in several international locations: Abu Dhabi and Dubai, United Arab Emirates; Al Ahmadi, Kuwait; Al-Khobar, Jeddah, and Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; Doha, Qatar; Manama, Bahrain; and Singapore.
Out of 187 examinees, only 120 passed the stringent licensure exam.
