Wearing of Face Shields now Required in Commercial Establishments

In a media briefing, last August 21, 2020, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque has announced that wearing of face shields is required not only in public transportation and in the workplace but also in enclosed commercial establishments such as shopping malls.

Here’s the full statement of Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque:

“Napagkasunduan din ng National Task Force on COVID-19 na bukod po sa doon sa pagsusuot ng face shield sa pampublikong transportasyon, sa trabaho, ay dapat sinusuot na rin ang face shields sa mga nakasaradong commercial establishments gaya ng mga malls.”

[It was agreed by the National Task Force on COVID that aside from the wearing of face shield in public transportation and in the workplace, face shields must be worn in enclosed commercial establishments like malls.].
