The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has released the results of the December 2024 Licensure Examination for Certified Public Accountants (CPA), with Mark Owen Raras Garcia from the University of the Cordilleras earning the 8th spot with a rating of 88.0%.
Out of 10,136 examinees, only 3,058 passed, resulting in a national passing rate of 30.16%. The examination was conducted in 18 testing centers across the Philippines under the supervision of the Board of Accountancy, chaired by Hon. Noe G. Quiñanola, alongside Vice Chairman Hon. Samuel B. Padilla and Members Hon. Gloria T. Baysa, Hon. Thelma S. Ciudadano, Hon. Gervacio I. Piator, and Hon. Maria Teresita Z. Dimaculangan.
Starting January 28, 2025, successful examinees are required to register online for the issuance of their Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration. Registration must be completed through the PRC website at www.prc.gov.ph, and examinees are instructed to bring the following documents:
Successful candidates must personally register and sign the Roster of Registered Professionals as part of the process.
