No need to travel very far to feel like you’re in a different country because this UK-themed eco park in Tublay is now open to the public. If you want to visit the Beacon Hill Eco-Park, here’s a travel guide you can use.
The Beacon Hill Eco-Park, more famously being called the United Kingdom of Tublay for the English-inspired elements that you will find inside the park, is an up and coming attraction in Tublay that is just about an hour away from Baguio City.
The Beacon Hill Eco-Park is located at Km. 21, Labey-Lacamen Provincial Road, Golon, Ambassador, Tublay, Benguet. Just after the Polig’s Berry Farm, you will see a red London bus atop a hill.
You might think this red bus is just a display, but if you go nearer, you will see that the interior of the bus has been transformed into a cafe where you can enjoy coffee and desserts while enjoying the view. We suggest going up the hill and enjoying the sites first and save the desserts for the last part.
The Eco-Park is open everyday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
If you are coming from Baguio City, you can take the jeepney going to Acop, Tublay at the Magsaysay Avenue jeepney terminal. From there, you can take a modern jeep going to Labey and ask to be dropped at Beacon Hill Eco-Park. If you are visiting via a private car, the park can be easily navigated by using Google Maps. Parking is available on the opposite side of the hill.
