Typhoon Nika has moved further inland and is currently over the Cordillera Administrative Region, bringing strong winds and heavy rainfall to Northern Luzon. The typhoon is expected to continue its northwestward path and exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) tomorrow morning.
Nika will continue to move northwestward across Luzon, likely emerging over the sea west of Ilocos Sur later this afternoon or evening. It will maintain its typhoon strength until it exits Luzon, where it may weaken into a severe tropical storm due to land interaction.
