September Declared as “Philippine Film Industry Month”

UPDATE June 24, 2026 8:48 PM:

President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has declared September of every year through Proclamation No. 1085 as “Philippine Film Industry Month.”

The declaration was done on February 3, 2021 (Wednesday).

Furthermore, the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) will lead the observance of the Philippine Industry Month, and identify programs, projects, and activities for its celebration.
