Religious Services in Baguio City Resumes on August 16

An advisory from the Public Information Office (PIO) – City of Baguio has been posted today, August 13, 2020, regarding the resumption of religious services in Baguio City on August 16, 2020, Sunday.

Resumption of Religious Services Advisory

Here are the following advisories for the resumption of religious services in Baguio City:

• Congregational and other worship services may resume on August 16, 2020 at a maximum attendance of 25% of venue capacity.
• Anyone younger than 21 years old may attend services remotely, in the comforts of their home. But for those that will allow them, a separate area must be set aside specifically for their age group to protect the senior citizens.
• Churches shall continue to provide worship passes for their attendees. And, services are allowed from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM only.

It is stated in the advisory that participants and attendees are strongly encouraged to go home after the activity and to refrain from unnecessarily prolonged interactions.

Furthermore, all standard health and safety protocols such as social distancing and the wearing of facemasks must be observed.
