One Sitio of Barangay Nangalisan in Tuba, on Localized Lockdown

As of t 6: 00 PM of Wednesday, August 19, 2020, the Municipal Government of Tuba has placed Sitio Upper Lasilas of Barangay Nangalisan on localized lockdown effective until further notice.

Purpose of the Localized Lockdown

According to the report of the Tuba Municipal Government, the Tuba Contact Tracing Team has validated that a confirmed case of Baguio City, on August 8, 2020, has visited the said area. Thus, the localized lockdown has been placed to facilitate the following measures:

• Complete and efficient contact tracing
• Complete and efficient decontamination
• To ensure the safety and security of persons who may have come into contact with the patient

Reminders for Residents

• Residents are advised to stay home
• The use of Mall and Market Pass is suspended
• Those who need to access basic necessities can go to the Sari-sari stores
  • Or they must coordinate with their Barangay Officials
• All are advised to take extra precautionary measures and follow basic health protocols
• Exit and entry in the area is restricted to the following:
  • APORs (Authorized Person Outside Residence)
  • Those with medical emergencies
• APORs who have direct contact with the positive case will be included in the lockdown
