Today, October 3, 2020 (Saturday), the City of Baguio has recorded 65 new cases, 22 recoveries, and 2 fatalities. This update was posted by the Public Information Office (PIO) of the City of Baguio.
In addition, among the new cases listed today, 60 were contacts of current cases, four (4) were target tested, one (1) was symptomatic and one (1) tested for travel purposes.
Furthermore, thirty-two (32) of the new cases who tested positive are police trainees. According to Mayor Benjamin Magalong, the trainees along with the 83 others detected as of September 28 had been staying in their barracks in Lower Lourdes Subdivision and had been quarantined since the first case surfaced last September 22, 2020.
