May 9 Declared as Special Non-Working Holiday

President Rodrigo Duterte made an announcement on Thursday declaring Monday, May 9, 2022, as a special (non-working) holiday throughout the country.


As per Proclamation No. 1357, this holiday is to enable citizens to properly exercise their right to vote. This is subject to the public health measures of the national government.
