Kennon Road remains temporarily closed to non-residents as of August 7, 2026, while Marcos Highway, Naguilian Road, and the Asin-Nangalisan route are passable, according to the latest Baguio-bound road travel advisory from DPWH-Cordillera.
The Department of Public Works and Highways-Cordillera Administrative Region (DPWH-CAR) continues to restrict non-resident motorists from using Kennon Road due to safety concerns brought by continuous heavy rainfall.

Asin-Nangalisan-San Pascual-La Union Boundary Road
Use of these routes remains subject to prevailing road conditions.
Motorists are also advised to follow instructions from traffic enforcers and emergency personnel and monitor official DPWH-CAR and local government advisories for updates on road conditions and the reopening of Kennon Road.

Motorists who are not residents along the road are advised to use the available alternative routes.
