June 16, 2021 Declared as Special Non-Working Holiday in La Trinidad

Malacañang Palace has announced the declaration of Wednesday, June 16, 2021, as a special non-working holiday in the municipality of La Trinidad, Benguet on Monday.

This is in celebration of the municipality’s 71st Founding Anniversary. According to Proclamation No. 1155, this would give the people of La Trinidad the opportunity to celebrate and participate in the occasion with appropriate ceremonies, subject to community quarantine, social distancing, and other public health measures.

On June 16, 1950, by virtue of Republic Act No. 531, the Municipal District of La Trinidad was converted into a regular municipality that is now known as the Municipality of La Trinidad.
